I am very pleased that my banners have now been displayed on the outside of the Art College and will remain there over the coming weeks. They look fabulous and I have already started to receive many kind comments. I am also pleased my work featured in ‘Art Below’ will appear in the college E-Newsletter.
Art Below is an organisation that believes that artists and designers should have a share in public space. This exhibition takes place in July 2009 and artist’s work is reproduced as posters and put up at designated tube stations on the London Underground. The posters are displayed for 2 weeks and it is estimated that over 150,000 people use the tube every hour, which is a fantastic foot fall!
