I have just returned from the first few days of my exhibition in Southwark at the R.K Burt Gallery. The preview was very successful and very well attended and I have had many positive responses to my work. It is nice to see my work in a more urban setting and now look forward to exhibiting in Hereford in h.Art 09.

I have just returned from visiting my exhibition at the R.K.Burt Gallery, Southwark and took the time to check on my image at the Stockwell Tube Station. It was lovely to see the work in situ and observed many commuters taking time to examine the image.

I am very pleased that my ‘Figurative Form 1′ is now on display at Stockwell Tube Station. It will be there for the next month. I am sure it will cause much interest as visitors and commuters go into London.

I am very pleased that my banners have now been displayed on the outside of the Art College and will remain there over the coming weeks. They look fabulous and I have already started to receive many kind comments. I am also pleased my work featured in ‘Art Below’ will appear in the college E-Newsletter.
Art Below is an organisation that believes that artists and designers should have a share in public space. This exhibition takes place in July 2009 and artist’s work is reproduced as posters and put up at designated tube stations on the London Underground. The posters are displayed for 2 weeks and it is estimated that over 150,000 people use the tube every hour, which is a fantastic foot fall!

I am about to complete my B.A Hons course and my work will be on view at the Summer Show, 13-17th June inclusive at Hereford College of Arts.
My work has been selected to appear on the London Underground as part of ‘Artbelow. This will be in July 2009 and more details will follow.
My work may also be seen at the R.K Burt Gallery, South Bank, London, 21 - 30th July 2009.

My ‘Banners and Paintings’ Exhibition has received many positive comments and many people have said my work looks very apt in this church setting. My private preview was well attended with lots of people coming up to me in order to discuss my work. I now look forward to my final degree show in a couple of weeks time. Watch this space!
