Tonight I attended the Preview of my exhibition at Butespace Gallery, Cardiff. This will be featured in the Spring addition of ’City Life’ Magazine.
The evening was very well attended with many favourable comments being passed about my works. I hope you all will have chance to go and visit this exhibition.

This is going to prove another very busy year for me. I will complete my B.A (Hons) degree in Fine Art and along with the Summer exhibition have many exciting projects on my year planner.
I will be exhibiting some of my more recent works at Butespace Gallery, Cardiff
16th January - 6th February.
I am also working on a major project in Hereford to examine how shape, form, organic and inorganic subject matter can be used alongside perspective to give my work more pictorial space.
I am busy creating a set of banners for exhibition in March and will be announcing a venue later in 2009 so please watch this space.

I was pleased with the private view of this exhibition. It is lovely to see my paintings hanging alongside other artists. My pictures I feel contrast and complement each other and hang well in the Hereford City Art Gallery.
The exhibition will run until the 19th November 2008 and I hope you all will have an opportunity to come and view it.

I attended a lecture last night by Professor Allen Fisher of the Manchester Metropolitan University about the ‘Poetry of Objects’. I found it fascinating how change in perspective of collections of objects can affect ones perception of them and how these objects can become a contemplative or meditative piece of work. I will certainly find these thoughts useful when I next look at my own work.
